Bioderma Nourishing Cream For Dry To Very Dry Skin Review

I recently received a sample of Bioderma Nourishing Cream For Dry To Very Dry Skin and thought that rather than restrict this blog to makeup alone, I’d try out some skin care samples for my fellow skincare lovers!

Keep reading for my first impressions of the Bioderma Nourishing Cream…

When I first applied the cream I decided to use it on my face as I often get dry patches and as it’s winter my skin has been needing some TLC.

The first thing that I noticed was the thin gel like consistency which makes the product apply like silk to the skin and sink into the skin quickly.

A little goes a long way so a tiny amount covered my entire face. Although it has a slight floral scent, it is not overbaring and makes it feel more luxurious as the scent makes me think of a spa day!

My skin instantly felt hydrated yet not sticky like other moisturisers and stayed feeling hydrated for much longer than other moisturisers stating to be suited for dry skin.

It almost seems ridiculous to say that a moisturiser for dry to very dry skin is too hydrating, but this is definitely the case with this product!

After using the product I found it far too hydrating and when I woke up the next morning it had made areas of my face that I before considered normal now extremely oily! For the next few days I found my skin extremely sweaty looking and my makeup would just slide right off my face.

For someone with really bad dry skin this could be good for you but for those with dry patches I’d recommend either using this product solely on dry patches or avoiding this altogether!

This product is NOT Beauty Rant recommended 😦

Let me know in the comments your favourite moisturiser for dry skin!
