How Much Does One Day Of Makeup Cost Me?!

I saw a blog post the other day on how much one day of makeup costs and I thought it would be interesting to find out how much a typical day of makeup costs me!

I alternate my makeup looks all the time so in this post I’ll be basing the product selection on a look I’ve been loving lately and has been my go-to weekend look. At the end of the post I’ll be doing two total prices, one including the price of makeup brushes used and one without so we can see the real overall cost of beauty!

Milani Conceal + Perfect 2 In 1 Foundation – £9.99
L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer – £5.00
Rimmel Lasting Finish Powder Foundation  – £6.99
Maybelline Super Stay 24 Longwear Matte Powder – £5.99

LA Splash Smitten Waterproof TipTint Mousse (shade: Lovestruck) – £9.95

Morphe M439 Brush – £12.50
ICING Powder Brush – £7.25
Real Techniques Blush Brush – £9.99
Morphe M158 Brush – £2.95
Real Techniques Sculpting Brush – £9.99
Morphe M501 Brush – £6.95
Real Techniques Setting Brush – £6.99
Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush, Real Techniques Accent Brush & Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush (Part of Real Techniques Starter Kit) – £21.99
Real Techniques Shading Brush – £5.55

Brushes Total =£81.16

I’m actually pleasantly surprised! I’m a lover of drugstore makeup so the fact my total without brushes only comes to just under £100 is great, especially as most of the products used in the above look are my holy grail products.

Leave the total cost of your everyday makeup in the comments below – you might be surprised!

  1. If we’re gonna get technical one day of make-up actually costs you £1.99.
Based on your products being replaced every 3 months, which is probably a little generous being that you only wear much of this during the weekend.
    Just sayin’…
