Skin Care Tips To Swear By – 30 Days of Beauty Challenge

Skin care is incredibly important in order to look younger for longer as well as protecting your skin from the sun and damage from environmental pollution.

Keep reading to find out my top 5 skin care tips that I swear by!

Massage in your moisturiser

In order to increase circulation and ensure that your moisturiser is sinking into your Skin, when applying the moisturiser try massaging it into your face rather than patting or swiping. The massaging motion will increase circulation, blood flow and work the product into your skin for more skin care benefits.

Use face masks

Face masks contain many skin care benefits to fix any problems you may be having with your skin; whether you have dry skin, skin that produces excessive oil or sensitive acne prone skin, there are face masks specifically created to solve your skin issues over time.

Stay hydrated

We’ve all heard it before but it’s true, the more water you drink the more hydrated and clear your skin will look and feel! Taking a few seconds out of your day to have a glass of water could drastically improve the condition of your skin, as well as your overall health.

Exfoliate

By using a gentle exfoliating cleanser every few days to get rid of the top layer of dead skin cells on your face, this will help speed up the renewal process of your skin and help prevent clogged pores. By exfoliating and moisturising your skin on a regular basis, this will leave your skin soft and clean for makeup application as well the exfoliant helping to remove excess makeup from your skin.

Give your skin a rest

However much you love makeup, it’s super important that you give your skin a break every now and again. Whether that’s a lazy Sunday or a week off whilst you’re on holiday, you’ll see a big difference in your skin.
