Whilst I love hot summer days and sandals I can’t deny that my favourite season is Autumn. There’s just something so comforting and familiar about wrapping up warm whilst the leaves fall off the trees, watching the hussle and bussle of Christmas begin!
As someone who doesn’t really like to wear dresses without tights on a regular basis I always feel lost in my wardrobe during summer, autumn provides the perfect in between of dresses with thick black tights and ankle boots – a timeless and effortless look.
I recently picked up some clothes from Tu Clothing and Peacocks that I feel really fit my autumn style, are comfortable and affordable so why not share them with you guys to hopefully give you some inspiration 🙂
Growing up I hated wearing a coat; I almost got stranded miles away from home in thick snow in a hoodie once, no lie. Anyway, now that I’m a strong independent woman (kinda) I thought it was about time I replaced my purple parka with something a little more stylish. Believe it or not, I found this beauty in Tu Clothing in Sainsburys! I love Sainsbury’s clothing and think it’s highly underrated for how great the quality is for the price. They have plenty of different styles in store at the moment for very reasonable prices, this coat cost me £45.
Another goodie from Tu Clothing, this jumper is new in at £22 (although I somehow got it half price for £11 – love that!). This is the perfect oversized jumper to wear with jeans or leggings with some nice boots. I love the bold blocks of colours and think the colours are perfect for autumn without going completely burgundy.
I don’t know when it happened, or how it happened, but this year I absolutely despise jeans. Having spent the last decade stuffing myself into skinny jeans, I’ve had enough! Jeans never fit properly and are just damn uncomfortable, so I’ve been on the hunt for an alternative. I’ve never been a big fan of the leggings and a jumper trend but now that I’ve discovered these leggings I never want to go back. These leggings are also from Tu Clothing (I’m not sponsored by Sainsbury’s I swear!) and are the most comfortable and stylish looking leggings I’ve ever seen. They are a really nice thickness and are the basis of a great effortless outfit. The pair on the left were originally £15 but I managed to grab them for £10 and the pair on the right are £14.
Lastly I purchased these dark tan ankle boots from Peacocks for £22. These boots are incredibly comfy and I’ve been wearing them everyday since I bought them. They are a tiny bit too wide fit for me but with a thicker pair of socks they fit just right and go with any outfit!
