Guess who forgot to renew her domain? Yep you guessed it, this doofus over here. So, I apologise that Beauty Rant has been down for the past few days, it is now all sorted and I have so many exciting blog posts coming up over the next month!
I thought what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than with a good ol’ Christmas tag! All credit for this tag goes to Milk Bubble Tea blog who I believe created this tag 🙂
1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
My favourite Christmas movie has to be Christmas with the Kranks. I’ve just looked and can’t believe Christmas with the Kranks only has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 5% – outrageous! Take my word for it, this nontraditional Christmas film is a truly feel good film that you will want to watch over and over again.
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Traditionally we open presents on Christmas morning but in recent years my sister has created a Christmas Eve box so that we can open a little present each before the big day! Even at the ripe old age of 22 I can’t resist running into the living room to see what goodies lie under the tree 🙂
3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
I don’t have one specific Christmas memory that I hold dear; I think every Christmas is special in its’ own way and I just love spending the day with my family.
4. Favourite festive food?
I am known as the Pringle monster at Christmas, honestly – I think I have a problem. Leave me in a room with ready salted Pringles and don’t expect for there to be any left when you return…
5. Favourite Christmas gift?
I’ve been lucky to receive many amazing gifts over the years so pinpointing one present is difficult but I remember being ecstatic when I got my Baby Annabelle doll one Christmas! Some of my fondest memories are all times where I’d be with my mom in the kitchen whilst she did the ironing and I’d set up my little pretend iron board and iron my dolls clothes; I played with that doll for years!
6. Favourite Christmas scent?
*Controversial statement* I hate Christmas scents. All ‘winter spice’ candles, drinks etc all just smell like cinnamon and it turns my stomach! I’m much more of a fresh scent person, so at this time of the year I steer towards berry scents!
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Every Christmas Eve me and my family watch Christmas movies, open our Christmas Eve box and do some Christmas baking 🙂 Nothing extravagant but equally lovely.
8. What tops your tree?
This year we have a star topping our tree but last year we had an angel. I can see us mixing this up every few years with new decorations as I have an addition to buying Christmas ornaments (much to my other half’s dismay!).
9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
Honestly anything advertised on TV was added to my ‘OMG I WANT THAT’ list. I dread the day when I have children of my own and they do the same to me every time an advert comes on!
10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
I think my favourite thing about Christmas is having a break from ‘reality’; stepping away from work and all the stresses that come with everyday life and just enjoying spending time with the ones you love. And Pringles.
