I have been so excited to share this post with you guys! Christmas this year has been one of the best; I’ve loved every second of the time spent with my boyfriend and my family during the Christmas period, and I have been well and truly spoilt.
I’d love to know how you spent your Christmas break and what gifts you received, so leave them in the comments below 🙂
I’ve picked out all my beauty bits that I thought you lovelies would like to see, so keep reading to find out what gifts I received!
I’ve been working with some awful hair straightners for the past six months since my favourites died on me so I’m super excited to finally have straight hair again! I’ve used these twice since Christmas Day and I’ve never had such straight hair, so I highly recommend the Remington Shine Therapy Straighteners if you are looking for a GHD alternative.
As soon as the Soph X Revolution eyeshadow palette was released it has been sold out everywhere, so I was super hyped to unwrap this on Christmas Day! I’ve worn shades from this palette every day since and the quality is amazing for £10. Expect a post on this palette very soon 🙂
I’ve also been playing with this set since Christmas as I’ve been wanting to try some liquid highlighters for a long time! They are very glittery and you have to blend them fast for a seemless look so be warned, but I love the effected they give and how wearable the shades are – even the green. I think they’re going to be stunning mixed in with foundation for a super glowy look in the spring, so can’t wait to try these out more.
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’ll know that I can never get enough highlight! I’m fairly new to ELF products and have yet to try their highlighters, so I’m looking forward to having these in my collection and trying these out 🙂
I was browsing my local Wilkinsons recently and remembered that so many beauty lovers rave about the Collection Glam Crystals glitter liners so I gave a wink to Santa with the hope these would make their way to my makeup collection for Christmas (thanks Santa!). You guys. If you’re looking a glitter liner that is packed full of glitter and pigment then you need to try these out; I believe they are £2-3 and I am blown away. They last all day and don’t flake off, what more could you want? Don’t worry, they have more ‘normal’ shades too such as gold and silver for more wearable looks.
I’m going to do a whole other blog post on the products I got from KIKO because they are stunning and I think KIKO is such an underrated brand, everything I have tried from this brand is amazing! As you can see, I received a highlighter and eyeshadow from the Arctic Holiday Christmas collection, a magnetic eyeshadow from the Fall collection and another magnetic eyeshadow from the original collection.
If you’ve been following me for a while then it should be no surprise that I would receive something watermelon themed! I think this set is super cute and I can’t wait to bedazzle my nails with tiny watermelons – bring on Spring 🙂
Firstly, can we appreciate the packaging of this Tanya Burr beauty box? I think it’s stunning! This set is jam packed full of best sellers from the Tanya Burr makeup line including highlighters and eyeshadows; I’ve not tried much from this brand before so I’m looking forward to testing these out. If you’d like a one brand blog post on Tanya Burr makeup let me know in the comments below 🙂
Not one lipstick, not two – but 12 lipsticks! I’ve heard amazing things about MUA liquid lipsticks so was thrilled to get a set of twelve to try out and swatch for you guys. I’ve tried out the blue shade and am actually obsessed with the pigmentation!
Lastly, I have featured a lot of The Body Shop products on my blog over the past year and was overwhelmed when I received this amazing hamer of goodies. It’s crazy how I own so many products already by this brand but everything in this hamper is new to me – I definitely won’t need to order any new products for a long time!
Leave a comment below letting me know something that made you feel happy this Christmas ❤
