L’Oreal Paris Paradise Brow Pomade Review

I’m always on the look out for the best eyebrow products on the market, whether they come in powder, pencil or pomade form.  Personally, I feel great eyebrows can completely transform your face and complete your makeup look with minimal effort if you can find a product that you agree with and works for you.

My favourite brow pomade, the NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade, dried out recently which left me wanting to try something new that would hopefully not dry up so fast.

Around the same time that the L’Oreal Paris Paradise mascara launched, they also released the L’Oreal Paris Brow Pomade. I had heard a lot of talk in the beauty community around this product months ago, but couldn’t remember whether the hype was true, so thought I’d try it out for myself!

Before I let you guys in on my thoughts on this product, here are the official product claims:

Build your most perfect brows, with our 1st Brow Pomade for a natural or bold look. Create, define and fill your brows with this highly-pigmented, matte formula that glides on smoothly.

The ultra-precise slanted brush allows you to easily create the brows of your dreams! Longwear formula that resists smudging and fading.

If you are someone who doesn’t own many makeup brushes and has a relitively small makeup collection, I think this packaging could actually be really useful for you. For me, I find the addition of a built-in brush within the packaging a little bulky and unnecessary.

The brush isn’t bad quality and I did use it for a few days before finding my favourite brush that I had lost, but personally I prefer using my own brushes for makeup; so having a brush within the product itself makes it a large product that takes up a lot of room in my makeup bag! Despite this, I love the rose gold exterior and think it looks really high end for the £10 price tag.

The suggested application for this product as instructed by L’Oreal:

Dip the built-in slanted brush into the Pomade and wipe off any excess formula. Outline and fill you brows, building up to achieve your desired look. Brush through with a clean spooley brush to blend.

On first dip in the pomade, it is extremely creamy and packed full of pigment. I found it really easy to apply with the included brush as well as my own brush, it is incredibly easy to create whatever type of brow you want whether that be bold, natural, faded etc as the product glides on and can be distrubted easily with a spooly. I purchased the shade Brunette as I like to have brows a little darker than my hair, and think it was the perfect shade for me.

I have been testing this product out for a little over a month and am incredibly impressed with how the L’Oreal Paris Brow Pomade performs.
