The Perfect Nail Colour For Spring

It is officially spring and I have been itching to start playing with spring colours ever since Christmas, so today I thought I’d share with you all my favourite nail colour for spring 🙂

Personally, I associate spring with neutral and pastel colours that give your outfit a pop. I think of duck egg blue and muted pinks compared to the dark burgundy shades of autumn and winter.

My favourite nail polish colour for spring is the Barry M Cosmetics Hi Shine Gelly Nail Paint in Acai Smoothie.

It is a gorgeous muted purple toned pink that really does make me think of a smoothie! Barry M nail polishes are some of the best on the high street and I would say 70% of my nail polish collection is Barry M, they have such gorgeous glossy colours that are extremely pigmented. The below picture is one coat of Acai Smoothie!

Barry M nail varnishes usually retail for £3.99 but you can pick this up for £2.90 on Amazon at the moment, such a steal!

Without a top coat I would say this polish usually lasts for about 3 days without chipping, but with a top coat, it lasts a solid week of looking flawless!

I’d love to do a nail polish collection video as I have quite a collection, let me know if this is something you would be interested in seeing!

What is your favourite nail polish for spring? 🙂

  1. Pretty color! I think I have something similar from Butter London. I normally prefer dark, vampy shades year-round though. Right now I got pink chrome on but I can’t wait to go back to black. 🖤
