L’Oreal Infallible Shaping Stick & Mattifying Primer Review

L’Oreal recently launched their first ever foundation stick and as I’ve never used a foundation stick before, I thought I’d give it a try 🙂

Alongside the L’Oreal Infallible Shaping Stick, I also purchased their mattifying primer to control my oily t-zone and give the foundation the best chance possible. The primer retails for £8.99 and the foundation is also £8.99 which are both reasonable prices!

The foundation stick contains 9g of product which from what I have seen of other foundation sticks, their is a lot product so I feel like it will last quite a while.

I got the lightest shade which is 100 Ivory which only looks very fair, however, when I swatched it it looked very orange toned!

Luckily when applied directly to the face it looks a lot more neutral and almost changes with your skin tone!

I applied a generous amount to the skin as it doesn’t claim to be full coverage and I think it was just the right amount as it blended out beautifully! I attempted to blend it out with a beauty sponge however the formula is too stiff so I opted for my E.L.F. ultimate blending brush.

I’ve worn this foundation several times and I love the coverage and the finish; it’s very matte but doesn’t look drying at all. I definitely do need a primer with this foundation otherwise I look oily after a few hours, but overall I think this a great affordable foundation .

What is your favourite stick foundation? 🙂
